Virus Dynamics Research
Virus Dynamics research
Our work in virus dynamics builds on epidemiology in two ways. First, the dynamics of virus spread within the body mirrors spread of infection in populations. And second, what happens within the body is essential for the spread between individuals. This approach connects with immunology, cell biology and even cancer. Current work is led by undergraduate researcher Muskan Walia to use the tools of virus dynamics modeling to understand the timing of positive tests for SARS-CoV-2.
